Hi,
I guess my situation is somewhat similar. Last week I completed a project for my BA thesis and Monday I start my final pre-req which ends right before my Masters entry nursing program starts this Sept. so, this is our last week of freedome for a while!

I'm starting the graduate program here in town and will be taking 6 hours of grauate classes and 5 hours of undergrad (I am required to retake my statistics class since it's been more that 5 years since I had it). I'm taking the undergrad classes at a community college close by since the tuition will be significantly less. I'm excited about going back, and classes start the middle of August.
This whole week I put in for PTO, but after surfing some of the forums- I'm starting to have second thoughts about my PTO usage (not sure what the clinical hour requirements will be when I get to that stage of the program). I have 160+ hours presently, but we've been getting low worked since the census has been down and I'm in the float pool... so, believe it or not I've called into work this last Friday, Saturday and Sunday to see if they'd need help and no such luck... soooooooo, I'm thinking of retracting my PTO this week and trying to work if I can, but stressing about starting back to school and having to work 72 hours to maintain benefits, etc. Thinking I should enjoy the "vacation" time before it's really time to crack the books again.
Best of Luck with your semester's.
