i have to buy a new computer in the next week or so. so i am asking the rest of you, would you buy a laptop, or a desktop pc? i see advantages to both.

desktop - bigger screen, better sound, easier to use (i think) mouse than that little pad thingy on a laptop? cheaper:confused:

laptop - smaller, takes up less space, can do as much as the other. more expensive, about twice a desktop for the same thing.

what do you think?

I live in SC, but I'm lying in my hotel room online in Chicago right now with my laptop...

That's all me and Forrest have to say about that...

well after much thought, i ordered another desktop pc.

while the travel issue r/t a laptop makes sense, i don't figure on a lot of travel that requires a laptop in the near future. that and you can get about the same desktop, for half the price of a laptop.

i don't figure to be able to do travel nursing or any extended away time, until next summer anyways.

thanks for all the input!
