Does anyone recommend a laptop for nursing school. They use office 365 that will be a free install from my school. Just need it for hw, papers and internet research. Want to stay below $300

Here are few options I found in just a few minutes. I really really recommend ASUS laptops or even Acer nowadays. I tend to stay away from HP since they don't seem to last.
The nice thing about ASUS is that their laptops usually carry a warranty that covers against drops and spills.
I used to build computers and fix laptops before I started nursing school so the above recommendations are from personal experience.

MacBook Pro hands down!!! I used it all through school and no freezing, takes two seconds to start up, and great graphics. Far superior to any PC, at least in my opinion!
I am not sure if you start school in September, but usually right around August Best Buy does money off for students, as long as you have a school email! They also have some on sale now, I would definitely go their and not the Mac Store!
Good luck with school!!!

Thank you so much! My experience with MAC products is as far as an iPhone lol. I'm scared to try to learn a Mac while stayrtinf school. But I appreciate you taking the time to reply.
