Hello everyone,

Who else is WAITING to hear from LAPC college for the Fall 2015 semester?? Already got two emails just stating thanks for applying etc.. I am so anxious. Got another email stating some time in May, I'll be notified.

Good luck everyone!

;)

Well first semester has four classes, so you'll probably have two on Monday and two on Wednesday. Then clinicals are on Thursday and Friday at your assigned hospital!

Alrighty! Thanks for the response.

No problem! :-)

Hi everyone! Congrats to those who were accepted and accepted! My name is Becky and I'm in my 3rd semester at Pierce. Once you guys set up your FB page be sure to add me, I have some info that will help you throughout your classes. All the best!

Good morning Becky,

Thank you! Congrats to you too! Bet it feels good to be in the third semester. Karla sent me an email that the health and other requirements will be sent out next week. Also the Orientation day, but I was wondering if I attend both days she listed or just one?

I haven't made a facebook group yet, because I only know one other person that got accepted and she said to wait until Orientation day. I'll definitely add you once the group gets started!

Yes, you attend both orientation days! Try to get all the health requirements done ASAP, they really mean it when they say it's due by the deadline. Plus it's just nice to have it done early!

As for the uniforms... At the uniform store they give you a patch or they can send it out to be embroidered for you. I did that and it looks nice, just allow around two weeks to get it back.

I made a Facebook before orientation and then just gave everyone the link once we all met. So feel free to take that initiative :-)

I'm in Becky's class so I can also add to your group and give you whatever study guides I have as well.

Good luck!

Yes definitely attend both days. And do your health requirements early. It can be a long process since you need titers and possibly vaccinations for various things and if you don't have proof of vaccinations/titers then you won't be able to go to the hospital.

Lauren made a FB group early and it was helpful. FB is gana be your lifeline so for those who don't have a FB you better get into it!
