Lanier Tech Summer 2017

Hello! I am wondering how much studying did anyone put in their TEAS 5? I currently have two books and I just ordered a new set of flashcards. Can anyone tell me how competitive is the LPN program at Forsyth to get into? I am beyond stressing because I want this SO, SO bad. I currently have A's and B's in all my prerequisites and I feel like its not enough. Thank you so much!

Hi! I am applying to Lanier Tech Summer 2017 too, but the Oakwood campus. I'm from California so I don't know too much about the programs out here but the same goes for everywhere- try your very best, push yourself and that's really all you can do. I bought the ATI 6th edition study manual and it looks good. I'm finishing pre-requisites this semester so most of my time goes into that, but I'll be tackling that as much as I can. Good luck to you, your grades sound good to me, just study the heck out of that manual and stay refreshed on every concept in that book and you should do well.

I am wondering the same thing. Im also applying this summer 2017 to lanier tech. I already took my teas 6 and got a 62 on it (i was so nervous) im going to try and take it one more try in jan to improve my score. Does anyone know how many applicants there are this round?

Thanks!

Same here! I am applying for the Summer 2017 in oakwood!! What is your GPA?

I have 1 more class to take this spring alhs 1060 but all my other classes I have all B's and 1 c in math. I transferred from another college so I had 2 math courses transfer, so they said theyll be looking at the math 1101 not my other, which of course I received a C in that one. I wasnt too happy about that, but nothing I can do. Just try again in my Teas and hope I get a higher score.

Did anyone go to the registration day this week? I went and they said that I still had a good chance to get in. Crossing fingers!!

I thought you needed to have all courses done by this semester (FALL 2016).... What is the registration day you are talking about? I have no clue what that refers to.. can you elaborate and explain? My email is [email protected] EMAIL ME PLEASE!!!

elowman4.. have you taken the TEAS Exam already?

I am transferring from Gwinnett Tech and was able to raise my GPA to a 3.7 this semester, but my TEAS didn't go as well as I had wanted I got a 71. If I have time I'll re-take it. It's almost time!! The only thing I have left is CPR I'm looking for a place that offers it, I think Gwinnett tech does. Good luck everyone!

I'm applying (applied) for Summer 17 as well. I also thought that classes had to be completed fall semester? And I do not know know what the registration day is, I have been communicating with the advisor since last summer and was never informed of this?

emysobo... what did you score on your TEAS test if we may know? what were your grades for the prerequisites?
