Anyone applying? Have you taken the NLN test yet? Scores? I am taking mine in December. Finishing my prereq's fall and spring semester. Nervous! I am more nervous about the commitment once you get in than the test I think. I became a single mother in May. I have 4 children, ages 2-7. Praying that God bridges the childcare gaps for me! Good luck to everyone!

& did you guys use anything else to help you prepare other than the NLN study guide?

I just used the study guide and it does have an overview of physics and I got a 98

Also, I emailed Barbara about registering and she said we would register in April...

Is anyone else nervous? I will be quitting my job of 17 years. I have faith that this is God's plan for me, but I am nervous about the big change and so much to learn. Plus I'm no Spring chicken anymore at 43. Lol. I know I will feel better once we get registered. :)

I'm getting nervous. My situation gets more volatile everyday. And I'm scared my fears about not being able to hack it will push me to make the wrong decision.... April 18 needs to get here already.

I'm getting anxious and excited! I'm nervous about balancing my kids, work and home life... My Mom also has cancer and just had a colectomy. She will be starting chemo for 4 months as I start school and I live next door and am one of her primary caregivers. I'm so worried about keeping up but I just keep reminding myself this is the best thing for me and my kids future! We can do this ladies!!

You are right - we can do this. I don't think God would have led us this far if it wasn't meant to be. I think we will all feel better once we get registered and orientated. :)

I got my Littman Classic II SE for 69.99 with free engraving online at Medisave. I went up to Scrubs and Things in Dawsonville to try it out first and with our student discount it was 113.00. I got it for my Intro to Healthcare class I'm taking right now. We are supposed to cover vitals tomorrow night. Can't wait! :)

So I am so excited. I got to do a major wound care with an ostomy nurse today along with changing and cleaning an ostomy bag and clean the stoma! It was awesome! I also recieved my stethoscope today! We're getting closer!
