Anyone applying? Have you taken the NLN test yet? Scores? I am taking mine in December. Finishing my prereq's fall and spring semester. Nervous! I am more nervous about the commitment once you get in than the test I think. I became a single mother in May. I have 4 children, ages 2-7. Praying that God bridges the childcare gaps for me! Hi Rebecca! Things went well yesterday thanks! Just a little sore today! I know I feel like I have a todo list a mile long! I meant to exchange phone numbers with you yesterday! Maybe we can pm each other! Anyway, how many uniforms will you be ordering? And are we supposed to where them in class says too? I scheduled a physical .. Figured I'm just going to get titers drawn since all my info is back in ct. Good luck with everything!

Hey ladies! Good to see you at orientation today! I'm so excited to start! I was just wondering if you read anything about patches for our uniforms. I know she mentioned it briefly... I'm just wondering if they have them in the bookstore.

Hey Ladies, I hate we are not at the same campus, but regarding the uniforms, at Oakwood, we were told that they will be monogramming them and not using the patches anymore. We only have to wear them to clinical.

Does anyone know if we can rent the textbooks? They are super cheap online to rent but I'm not sure if we will be using them the whole year. Also, how many uniforms are you going to buy?

She said we would need all the books all year! Im going to do my old book return next week and hopefully will have enough to at least buy fundamentals and the drug book so I can get a head start. Also ordered uniforms and shoes today! Did background check and did drug test today... And got physical done and dental! So much to do!

Yeah... I've had everything done for about a week since class starts Monday. I got all the books on amazon for like $250

I have financial aid and can't get books until Monday. But I think I'm going to buy Fundamentals today since we already got next weeks lessons and its a chapter a day.
