Hi everyone,

I’m just wondering, how many people here have exactly 3.6 GPA? Any of you got accepted yet?

Much thanks ?

Yes, I was accepted with exactly a 3.6 GPA! I think they take into consideration how many courses you have retaken. If a spot becomes available, they will choose the applicant who has retaken fewer classes. Although, I am not sure if this information is accurate because I heard it from word of mouth.

I wish you the best, fingers crossed you get in.

Oh I see! Thanks for the reply! I really hope I’ll get in. I didn’t retake any classes and I have exactly 3.6 GPA.

Hi there,

Nope, still waitlisted ?

Anyone got accepted from the waitlist? ?

Do you know what position you are on the list ?

Oh will they tell me if I email them?

Hey guys! I'm currently in the nursing program, term 5 @ BCIT. If anyone is looking to gain more experience in the health care field I have a job opening at my work! (BCIT loves to look at relevant health care experience!)

JOB OPPORTUNITY - Unlicensed Care Worker

- The job is in North Vancouver, 5 minutes from Lion's Gate Hospital.

- The starting pay is $20/h and there are merit increases.

- The shifts are 6:30-15:00 or 15:00-23:00 everyday. Shifts will be available ASAP and training shifts ASAP.

- No experience required!! The employer is specifically looking for (prospective) nursing students and will work with you to fit your schedule. It is excellent experience in applying for nursing school or maintaining your nursing skills.

- You'll be working with a male client in his 30s who has cerebral palsy doing total care (ADLs, medication administration, and companionship) in the client's home.

- The bulk of the shift is companionship. It is a chill, fun, and rewarding job - the client is sociable, fun, and kind. You have a lot of flexibility in what you choose to do together. The client enjoys watching TV, going for walks or drives, going to the movies, etc.

Please email me @ [email protected] with your resume.

Also please feel free to email me for more details! ?  I would give my number but considering this is a very open website I don't feel comfortable doing so.

Also I promise this isn't a fake ad or anything. Just wanting to provide an opportunity for those who want their nursing application to look 100% (;

Hi guys, I'm planning to apply for Spring 2023 however I am applying from Alberta. I am planning to finish 3 of my pre-reqs (BIOL 1190, BIOL1191, and English equivalent with ENGL 1100, 1123, 1127, or 1128) course from my current university. Does anybody know how I would be able to check if my courses specifically the English ones would be transferable to Langara? Also, when is usually the deadline to submit transcripts? Thank you in advance! :)

Hey,

I also applied from Edmonton. Send your course outline to the advisor for Clarification.
