Hey guys!

Just wondering if Langara places everyone on the waitlist who has at least a 2.33 GPA (since that's the bare minimum to get in) OR do they reject some people in order to maintain a specific number of students on the waitlist?

I'm just trying to guesstimate my chances of getting in since I was placed on the waitlist. ?

You should feel lucky that you are on a waiting list ! I know someone with Higher GPA  who was rejected without being wait listed

Just received letter with what need to be completed.

I also have a 3.6 GPA hopefully I’ll get in soon too ????

Oh really? Thanks for letting me know, now I can guesstimate with some slight background knowledge haha! I'll keep my fingers crossed for now??

I got accepted into the Spring 2022 intake, but I am waitlisted for fall 2021. Does anyone know if I accept my offer, will I get kicked off the waitlist?

Hi everyone! I also got accepted finally! But I also waitlisted still for fall so wondering the same thing! Can’t wait to meet you all if I do start in the Spring!

I just wanted to let everyone know again I did make a group for this intake! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1010384019777347/

☺️☺️☺️

On waitlist for the fall intake, but accepted the Spring 2022 offer! With a 3.62 GPA

Hi, congratulations for those of you have got accepted. May I ask, what is the percentage grade in terms of 3.70GPA in Langara. I also have finished some pre-requisites from VCC. Although I received some A+, those are in a range of 90-94 I believe (They never tell you what your final percentages are. Just a bunch of letter grades shown up on your transcript). Would they be 4.33 or 4.00 in Langara?  I am pretty sure I will not get good grades on 2 of the English classes. If 90% is a 4.33, I probably could get somewhere around 3.7, otherwise I would not even bother to apply. Please advise, thank you.

Hello,

I think you should definitely applied. I had the similar case at your. I completed my pre-requisites from Okanagan College and they consider the GPA of the school you completed the education from.  That is why my GPA was so high

LOL, poor Langara students. Langara grading system is, 95% A+, 90%A, 85%A-, whereas UBC, VCC and other colleges are, 90% A+, 85%A, 80%A-. Feel sorry for students in Langara.

Hi everyone,

I’m just wondering, how many people here have exactly 3.6 GPA? Any of you got accepted yet?

Much thanks ?
