Hey guys, just want to get some advice on which program I should take. I have completed all my pre-reqs except for the two required A&P courses. I was planning to take the courses this Spring/Summer 2022 at UofC just in time for Winter 2023 (UofC) application but all seats are filled. I am considering taking BIOL 235 online from Athabasca University as well but I just don't think I can manage teaching myself this class in 4 months as I need the GPA by September 2022. I have also applied for Macewan University for Fall 2022 in Edmonton and I think I have a good chance of getting in based on my AGPA. However, UofC's nursing transfer program is 2.5 years while Macewan is 4 years. If I can't get my A&P courses done by September, the earliest I can apply for UofC is Winter 2024. My question is - should I just go to Macewan if I get accepted or wait to apply for UofC (Winter 2024) since I have all my pre-reqs already? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I also applied for Macewan! I'm currently in Mount Royal University in Calgary and the min. GPA to get in as a transfer student is 4.0. It's ridiculous Thank you for the advice!

Hi guys, I'm planning to apply for Spring 2023 however I am applying from Alberta. I am planning to finish 3 of my pre-reqs (BIOL 1190, BIOL1191, and English equivalent with ENGL 1100, 1123, 1127, or 1128) course from my current university. Does anybody know how I would be able to check if my courses specifically the English ones would be transferable to Langara? Also, when is usually the deadline to submit transcripts? Thank you in advance! :)
