Published

Hi everyone! I will be applying for the September 2019 nursing intake at Langara. Anyone else feeling crazy about it???

The wait is unbearable, wish they would let us know soon :( I wonder how many students applied, and what everyone's GPA is ?

They just emailed back! The advisor said they will send out the first offers this week! As for the GPA, they won’t know the average until everyone is registered/admitted in June.

Okay because I called again and that's what they said, within the next couple weeks lol but its already Tuesday so maybe tomorrow!

Oh my god, this week! That makes me both nervous and excited! Good Luck to all of us ?!

Just got my acceptance email. Looking forward to meeting everyone this Fall :)

Hi. May I just ask what your GPA is?

Hi ARILEX, I applied with a 3.5 GPA and a previous degree.

Oh ! Congrats!!! Wait do they prioritize people with a degree like BCIT does?

Thank you! ?

Yes, they do. When I spoke to the admissions advisor, she stated that individuals with a degree get preference over others. I assume they also look at your GPA along with your degree. Then they select individuals with the highest GPAs etc.
