Langara September 2019 intake

Hi everyone!

I also applied with a degree. Last I checked, emails should be going out within the first couple of weeks of March but no definitive date. I'm already shocked at how fast February has passed, still can't believe it's March!

I called last Wednesday and they said they were starting to send them out but I haven't heard from anyone who got an email so far

Are you sure that they started to send out letters last week? If that were the case don't you think we would have received rejection or waitlist letters by now?

They send out acceptance, waitlist and rejection emails all on the same day or the following day from my experience.

That's also what I heard Rclan, if they told Shay that they were starting to send them out last Wednesday, that makes me nervous to why we haven't heard back yet.

I believe they’ll change your application status first before sending the emails, so if your status hasn’t been changed then I guess that only means that they haven’t sent it out.

It's awfully strange that the letters for this intake are taking so long to be sent out. Has anyone spoken to admissions recently?

I emailed them yesterday regarding the GPA cut off and the date as to when they’ll be sending out the letters, still waiting for a response.

I applied with a 3.67 gpa with no prior degree. I really hope I do get in... this intake seems really competitive :(

Hi Vancity3, Your GPA is really high so it should be fine!

Also Arilex, No I have not applied to any other schools!
