Langara Nursing Spring 2023

Updated:   Published

I am planning to apply to Langara's Nursing program with a GPA of 3. I know that's too low and I'm sooooooo hopeless that I can be accepted. I already retook all of the courses and I still got the same grades. Is there anyway that I can get accepted or should I just go to LPN first. All you guys' GPA are all above 3.5 so I am demotivated and I don't even know if I can do nursing :`( .

Hey guys here are my stats

Biol 1190 A+

Biol 1191 A+

Stats 1124 A-

Engl 1100 A-

Engl 1127 A

CGPA 4.0

HOPE TO GET IN !!

Hey! I’m in the same situation as you:( GPA of 3.2

I’m super upset, so I’m considering applying to other universities up north in BC

hi!

I just applied with a 3.6! hopefully that's good enough ?

Hey guys! I applied near the very end of April and had my transcripts mailed, but my status still says pending review. I'm a little nervous because its so close to the deadline; anyone in this situation?

Similar situation! I sent in my application in Feb but sent a final grade first or second day of May and that has yet to be updated on my application summary. I phone the admissions office and it sounds like they are extremely backed up and short staffed.

don't worry, at the top of your application it says ("if you have recently submitted documentation, please allow a minimum of 10 working days for your file to be updated"). they must be backed up, so as long as you have all your documents and transcripts transferred over to langara before may 31st (the deadline) the status should change to complete soon.

Anyone knows when are we going to hear back!

Supposed to be 1-2 months after the registration period ends so sometime right now (late June) or July! VERY anxious at the moment ahah

has anyone heard anything from

admissions yet?

Still haven't heard anything back...
