I’ve been checking my email almost every day now, but still no update for me. Hopefully they get back to us soon :(

I tried to email them but they never got back to me ? There might be so much inquiries. Best bet will be next week or the week of the 29th. They're prolonging our agony ?

Hi everyone ?

I'd like to apply to Langara (don't know exactly which semester yet) but I need some help understanding the admission requirements. I am currently attending SFU. I used the BC Transfer Guide and noticed that for a lot of the required courses, there aren't any equivalent courses at SFU (e.g. There is no course I can take at SFU to fulfill the BIOL 1191 requirement).

How can I apply to Langara if this is the case? I'm quite lost right now and would appreciate any help! ?

Hi, I am a current SFU grad and had applied to lanagra nursing for Fall 2021, however I was told I did not meet the prereqs.

I took BPK 205 and BPK 326 as my HAP, which they said did not transfer over. They said SFU does not have any courses that transfer over to their HAP requirements.

As well they had not accepted the English courses I had taken.

Hope this helps!

Will Langara notify you if you are no accepted into the program?

I think so. The wait is killing me ??

Anyone heard back from Langara yet?

I'm very scared since my applied GPA is lower than last intake's competitive average.

I feel like people had even higher averages compared to Jan 2021.

Nope, nothing yet ?

I think it’s gonna be sometime next week. Tuesday or Wednesday maybe? It’s taking so long. ?

Same I'm at 3.7 right now and I'm not feeling very confident about it, but I'm still hoping that I could somehow make the cut ?

I don't wanna wait another week so hopefully we will hear back from them next week. The baddest joke will be on April Fool's Day ?

fingers crossed ? that online school didn't boost everyone's average by that much. 3.7 admission average itself is pretty insane, how much higher could it get ?

I don't know why its getting delayed so much, everyone's anxiety is off the roofs RN. IDK how long I have to wait to reapply and get accepted ?

Not sure if this helps at all, but I'm applying with a 4.13 and I have yet to hear back. My application status still says "application complete". I'm guessing there are a lot more applicants and they're just running behind!
