Good luck everyone! term 1 BSN Langara student here, hang in there! this was the same situation with my term as well (Spring 2021). My friend had received their waitlist email with a GPA of 3.6 a couple days before I received my acceptance (I had a GPA of 3.87 and a SFU Health Sciences degree). 

The intake for this term sounds extremely difficult wow! Can’t believe how much the competitive average rises each intake! If you have any questions feel free to reply! ?

Hey guys! I'm also a term 1 Langara nursing student. Don't be discouraged, this intake seems to be highly competitive; I heard that compared to the Spring intakes, the Fall ones are much harder to get into. From my knowledge, if you don't get an email by today (around 5pm) or tomorrow, you most likely already secured a spot in the program. Fingers crossed guys!

Oh yeah, now I just got an email regarding waitlist. So it seems that the portal updates quicker than the emails are sent out.

Does anyone know if the order of people getting waitlisted mean anything? Just wondering why Langara didn’t just email everyone on the waitlist all at once last week..

no one knows for sure but I think they might be somehow sending the emails in a specific order. Maybe alphabetical or the date you applied?

Does anyone know is STATS 1124 and ENGL 1129 can transfer to bcit? If so, what is their equivalent?

got an email just now from advising that because of the pandemic they are short staffed so offers are being delayed, however, the did say in the email all offers will be sent no later than Friday the 16th. So hopefully we'll all hear back sooner than later
