Langara Fall 2016 Intake

Published

I know the application deadline for the Fall 2016 intake is still in January, but has anyone applied yet? If you don't mind sharing, what GPA did you apply with?

I was on waitlist and this is my first time applying. Thank you. Good luck!

Did you happen to overhear what those girls' gpas were @kayyyy ? Lol

I asked one today she said she had a 3.7 and her friend has something similar.
Waitlisted with a 3.4 gpa... I've read on other forums as well and I think people with a 3.6 gpa (no degree) have also been waitlisted.. how disappointing! Congratulations of to everyone who's had an offer though - crazy competitive this intake must've been.

Can you please tell me what the other Forums are because this is the only one I know. Thanks! Any news yet?

sitll waitlisted with 3.67... pretty sure i wont get in. to be honest, i dont plan on moving and because it is so hard to find a job here as a new grad, ive decided to switch to massage therapy! goodluck guys!

3.67 is a very good GPA - I think you will get in. Just be patient, it's still early. Give it a couple more months, but go ahead with the back-up plan. Don't get discouraged - if you don't get in with 3.67, I don't have a chance at 3.6!! :(

yeah i know, but after shadowing my friend for a while, im not sure if nursing is right for me :/

For those of you who got accepted, anyone waiting to hear back from bcit or ufv?

Well, it's already June and I haven't heard anything - anybody get admitted with a GPA of 3.6? Anybody 1st on the waitlist

I spoke to the admissions and they said that all spots have been given, however some people do drop out last minute or get acceptances to other schools so some spots may become available.

For those of you who haven't gotten an acceptance, did you apply this May as well? Or do you still have to finish the new pre-reqisates. Im almost done with the new pre requisites, but with this new high GPA I think I may retake one of the easier courses (probably English) to raise my GPA.

What is your GPA again? Thanks!
