Omg i just got my acceptance!

They didn't reject me! But I figure if most offers went out already and I wasn't wait listed then my chances are slim.

Not me. I have a 3.5 and I'm not even wait-listed. I just signed up to retake some of the courses next semester sucks i thought i had a chance this time

I don't think the average will drop too much. Maybe to a 3.6 (last intake people didn't get in with 3.67). I have a 3.5 and I don't think I will get in, when I asked the advisor if I should retake a course she said it would be beneficial....I don't have a degree but I do have around 60 credits.

And last semester I took A&P 1, English, Stats and Psychology. It was hard for sure BUT it was doable.

The cut off for the last intake was a 3.8. Theres actually a Langara 2016 thread on here you can read, basically people below 3.8 didnt get in. BUT that was with the old requirements.

What GPA did you apply with if you don't mind me asking? Im not sure if offers have been sent out yet, my friend has a 3.9 GPA and hasn't heard back so I'm basing it off when she gets in since shell probably be the first!

Its definitely a lot harder than 1190. Its heavier in terms of the workload because the Chapters have a lot more information in them. I tend to do well in Bio courses though because you really do get what you put in. If you study hard you'll do well. I think ill be able to come out with an A (hopefully)!

Right now its a 3.5 with 2 English, Bio 1 and Stats. And I am currently finishing Bio 2. I only got a B in the English courses however so its bringing it down a lot.

For those of you who haven't gotten an acceptance, did you apply this May as well? Or do you still have to finish the new pre-reqisates. Im almost done with the new pre requisites, but with this new high GPA I think I may retake one of the easier courses (probably English) to raise my GPA.

I spoke to the admissions and they said that all spots have been given, however some people do drop out last minute or get acceptances to other schools so some spots may become available.

Right now my GPA is around 3.6, I have one class left to do.

Im confused how the school calculates the average to get in. I have a transcript with a few failed classes from my first year. But then the classes they require are all A's. Do they look at my other grades?
