Hello,
Has anyone been contacted by the nurse recruiter at Lakewood Regional Medical Center? I got an email asking if I took the NCLEX yet. I'm hoping that's a good sign, meaning they are potentially looking at my application. I don't see a lot of information in their website about employee benefits. Is anyone familiar with their New Grad Residency?
hi CSULB ELM, sorry for late reply I just got the message now, the interview went well I was nervous too can you email to [email protected] I wanted to ask you some stuff. When did they tell you they will be contacting people. I think they told me sometime at end of this week or next week.

For those of you who did get interviews or hired...Did you have an RN license? I'm asking this to see if it makes a big difference when applying with just an interim permit versus a license.
Thanks! :)
Ganosah2008 I believe that you need to have RN license by the time you have an interview, I have a current acitve RN license, different certs. I'm not sure what they used to chose people for an interview. It could be a personal statement or other reasons.

Hi, I was interviewed and hired, I know they also hired a few people and I also know they have a few more interviews scheduled. I know someone that is scheduled in a couple of days. I'm sure they didn't fill all 10 spots before they finish the scheduled interviews. They received 450 app's and only interviewed 30 people and are filling 10 spots. They did state that you should have your RN license by the time of interview (I think they posted this on the job description)
Good Luck...I know it's very stressful out there
