Laguardia Community College fall 2020

Hey guys! I am currently waiting for laguardia to send out the acceptance letters. I applied back in February and we won't hear back anything until about July 14th . The wait is driving me crazy , iv been trying to keep my mind occupied. I have been looking for other allnurses forums to see if anyone else has applied for this 2020 fall semester. All I can find are older ones with not many replies. I got tired of waiting so I decided to start up the conversation myself ! If anyone who is applying for the 2020 LPN OR RN program sees this please comment ! LaGuardia is only taking 60 people this application period I would love to chat and see how many people are also waiting, or if anyone else is looking to exchange gpas since the TEAS won't be counted this time around .

Hi ! I think I will apply again for 2021, now I am doing Liberal Arts Math and Science, since I have 7 classes left to finish. The LPN coordinator told me that maybe in 2021 I will have the opportunity to get in. I hope so, if not, then I'm going to transfer. However, I have no idea how competitive it is this coming year...

Hey, how difficult is get into the nursing program at LaGuardia, I just applied for 2021.

Hey, well not sure how competitive it is this coming year, I'm worry about that as well. I haven't applied yet because I'm not sure. Are you applying to RN or LPN? 

Also, do you know when is the deadline for candidacy?

The deadline is in April 15. By the way, Have you taken TEAS exam yet? Do you happens to know if LaGuardia is offering TEAS exam for session 2?

Oh okay! Thanks. And I don't know to be honest, haven't get enough information about this. And no, I haven't taken the TEAS exam yet. I have all the Key courses tho.

I'm applying for Fall 2021. I would apply for the LPN program too, but I haven't done MAT 106

I could only apply to the 1 program. I chose the RN program. They send out acceptance letters in July.

I applied for LPN program for fall waiting for acceptance letter 

My grades are 

eng101 :A

Mat106:A

Gen psych: A

Scb203 and scb204: B 

  TEAS: 68 

Overall GPA: 3.5 

what are my chances to get in ?? I’m so nervous .and when do they send out the acceptance letters?

@GraceZ Hey! I'm applying for LPN this year, they are supposed to send out acceptance letters next week, I think.

My 4 key course grades are:

SSY 101: A

MAT 106: A

SCB 203: A-

ENG 101: C

Do you think I have a chance getting in? I'm worried that my "C" will affect me. 

I don't know if they're accepting more students this year, I hope they are, but I'm not sure

Hey all! Just got the email for LPN results and got accepted! 

My GPA is 3.9, all As in key courses and a B in SSY240. As for the TEAS exam, got an 83%.
