new to the system

During the process of investigation, and the outcome of the BON decisions I have made many attempts to find a forum and or support systems for nurses in WISCONSIN facing disciplinary action by the board. The WNA's Peer Assistance isn't even off the ground. The BON has been no help either. The other nursing "associations" besides acting like I was a pariah, or a leper, of course had no resources either.
I did find one posting by chance this evening, well morning(0400) and sent a response the the poster. It was posted in December. Yet I'm hoping there are other WISCONSIN Nurses and even more importantly Nurses in Milwaukee that can connect, offer advice and support to each other.
Don't worry, I'm using my mental health counselor, and any other resource such as that. Yet I want and need to talk with another nurse. I need someone in the trenches. (grin) What most amuses me is that Wisconsin is fairly progressive yet not a darn thing for nurses in trouble. Go figure. Perhaps that's a calling in my future, but for now, well you get the point.
Thanks for any help. Let me here from my fellow nurses in Wisconsin and MILWAUKEE!
Again, thanks.
Oh me? 25 years in the business. :)

I am sorry, I am not from Wisconsin..but you may find some more support if you post this in the Nurses in Recovery Forum. There are bound to be some others from Wisconsin reading ...you will find a lot of positive input and kindred spirits there.

You also might try posting in the Wisconsin section, since your primary concern seems to be finding local resources/contacts.
