Hello fellow future nurses,
I am so glad that I found this site; spent 5 hours reading all of your blogs and feel so much better knowing I am not alone in my nervousness. In several of the blogs there was mention of lacharity ?'s and kaplan ?'s that people were requesting be sent to them to their emails. I am praying that one of you will be kind enough to send me those too; my email is [email protected]
Thank you and enjoy the weekend; remember to let your brain rest so it can rejuvenate!
All the best,
cloudwatcher

You can buy the lacharity book at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Prioritization-Delegation-Assignment-Exercises-Examination/dp/0323065708/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1320495320&sr=1-2
It is excellent and I think a MUST for studying for the exam. I don't think you can get that through emails, it is a whole book.
Kaplan books here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_6?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=kaplan+nclex&sprefix=kaplan
The strategies book is very good. It teaches you how to answer questions even when you don't know the answer.
For content I would use Saunders: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_6?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=kaplan+nclex&sprefix=kaplan#/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_8?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=saunders+nclex+review+2012&sprefix=saunders&rh=n%3A283155%2Ck%3Asaunders+nclex+review+2012
There is a good book with content from Kaplan, but it is not for sale, you only get it when you take a course through Kaplan, maybe someone has it and could give it to you...
Otherwise, here is a link to the NCLEX 3500: http://nursing.slcc.edu/nclexrn3500/mainMenu.do;jsessionid=9DED8260177991F775101A52E28CDBBA
You can look through the threads here for the person who emails out links to NCLEX 4000, I don't think it is online yet... (maybe this thread will help: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/anyone-has-free-630937.html )
Here is a link to the Random facts pdf that I found here on allnurses: http://www.mediafire.com/?8joeselpf487p6k
This link: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/how-i-passed-588963.html takes you to an excellent thread, click on the link for the Nclex study guide that 'senseiRN' posted.
and here: http://www.learningshark.com/Nursing/Nursing%20Homepage/NCLEX-RN_Cramsheet.pdf is the EXAMCRAM NclexRN cram sheet.
Another link this time for infection control: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/infection-control-406535.html
Exam Master is also excellent. You just register and then you can choose what content you want to be tested on and how many questions you want etc. The questions are very high end, so it really prepares you well. They say that you have to pay, but you don't, just register and it lets you choose what you want. It helped me a lot. http://www.exammaster.com/
I hope all of this helps... I needed all the help that I could get and I found it all on here at allnurses.com
I don't think that I could have passed the exam without some help from this site.
All of the best to you for your exam and enjoy your weekend!
