Hello, i applied lacc nursing for fall 2017 and i made a thread to share any information. Anyone heard anything from them ?

I also forgot to mention that I received my medical packet through an email. If you haven't received yours, please contact the Nursing Dept.

Does lacc send the medical packet only to people who got accepted or do they also send it to alternates ?because im an alternate but i didny receive one.

They only send the packet after you call to accept your spot. It needs to be turned in by orientation.

I should've asked when i called to hold my spot as an alternate..uhgggg i guess im going to call next morning. Thank you @orangesky303 :)

Hi guys, your packet is sent via email once you call to accept your spot. Please check your junk mail. If you still haven't received yours, pls call the nursing department.

Hey @jess8780 are you an alternate or already accepted ? I called nursing dept this morning but they didny answer the phone so i had to leave a voice massage. Im not sure they also send the medical packet to alternates or only who got accepted. Im just waiting for call back.

Hi Aerial0623, I got accepted into the program. However, I'm guessing since alternates are asked to come to orientation class and the medical packet is due by orientation class, it would be idea for alternates to have their packet as well. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong, I hope you get a confirmation soon.

Since the decsion deadline is mid of june, im just gonna wait. And on the letter they didnt even mention about the medical packet

I really don't like to be in suspense. Is anyone alternate 1-40 ? Please confirm. LACC is very confusing and i'd like some clarification. Thank you

omg, thank you so much for clarifying. It sucks for me. But at least I have an answer now. You are in for sure. Myself in the other hand..... :l Looks like i'm going to have to try next semester

Congrats to all who got into the program!! To the alternates, don't loose hope. I would like to know if anyone can suggest where to get less expensive BLS class? Thanks ☺️
