Here is a thought. Many uniform shops and on-line uniform shops sell clipboards with common lab values printed on them. This helps you in clinicals when you want the info at your fingertips.
I have one of those. What I am actually looking for is explanations of what results indicate, why certain tests are done., and what the values indicate...............

the best one I've ever seen was Handbook of Laboratory and diagnostic Tests with Nursing Implications by Joyce LeFever Kee.
I've had mine for years!

Look on the Springhouse or Lippincott websites......... they have tons of books that might help you.

Try doing a search on Google
I like Mosby's Manueal of Diagnostic and Laboratory Tests. Lists tests, how to pefrorm the procedure, factors that interfere with results. Very good book.
