Lab value tree

Look at one in a chart notice the numbers, (values), written in the 'slots' and see if you can figure it out. I have seen them written two ways for chemistries. The Sodium, (Na) in the upper left corner, with the Potassium, (K), below. The chloride, (Cl), in the upper middle, with the Carbon Dioxide below, (CO2), the BUN in the upper left, with the Creatinine in the lower left. The glucose is in the bracket to the right. The other way is the + ions on the left, Na, with K below, the - ions next, Cl with CO2 below.

The Hematlogy one has one less slot with the Hemogloblin in the upper left, with the Hemocrit in the lower left. The WBCs in the upper right, with the RBCs in the lower right. The platelets are in the bracket to the right

Here's the two that I've seen

CBC wbc>hgb

hct

CMP Na l cl l BUN

K l CO2 l creatinine

Just make sure that you double check with the actual lab results because either the MD puts the results in the wrong spots or I've seen some MD's make there own graph.
