LA Pierce College Fall 2021

Hey guys! Just wanted to create this for everyone applying for Fall 2021. I submitted my application a while ago, but I didn't receive a confirmation email. Did anyone get one?

Hey y'all, 

I just got accepted to the program today!! So excited to meet you all ? I was chosen as an alternate and I received an email of acceptance because someone gave off their spot.

@bearpaw congrats! I’m still waiting... I wonder if they still have available spots. Was this first time applying to Pierce College? Did they ask you about your TEAS score earlier?

Yes, it was my first time because of the pandemic. I sent in my TEAS scores also.

I'm really, really trying to not get my hopes up, but I was just asked to send in my TEAS score a few minutes ago. I became an alternate a few days ago. @jacquelynaye did they email you back and if so how soon did they?

yeah they emailed me back and said I wasn’t accepted. I can’t believe they have all 700 applicants pay the $30 to send the TEAS and then choose people. I thought if we were asked to send our score that we were one of the ones accepted.

I have yet to receive any notification thus far. They probably didn’t even view my application (even though I was well qualified)  ? LOL but I am expecting my denial letter.

Did you guys receive an email yet regarding orientation, forms, or anything about starting?

@acoustiumalloy I have not received an email yet about anything that we need to do to prepare for the semester. I have been checking my email everyday.

Did anybody get the forms for the physical for the doctor to fill out and sign at the health center? I'm scheduled for this Thursday, but don't have the forms yet. Tried contacting the nursing department last Friday, however no repsonse yet

I haven't heard anything from them since June 4th, which is when they sent me an email saying I've been selected for admission. I accepted the same day and was told "information will be sent to you with instructions concerning orientation days and what you need to do to be ready to start the program" after accepting.
