LA Pierce College Fall 2021

Hey guys! Just wanted to create this for everyone applying for Fall 2021. I submitted my application a while ago, but I didn't receive a confirmation email. Did anyone get one?

Hello everyone, 

I emailed Pierce College about my application status and whether I should submit the TEAS score or not since it was not stated on the application. This was their response: 

“Hello,

TEAS TEST REPORTS 

  TEAS test results need to be sent directly from ATI. Please contact them to do this. 

Eligible applicants who are selected by lottery will be notified by email using the provided email address.  

Regards,

Los Angeles Pierce Department of Nursing”

I am reading that some people have already been contacted to submit their TEAS score so, I don’t feel very hopeful ?.

Does Pierce have a waitlist?

So is everyone to submit their official TEAS score and then they’re going to select people out of the lottery after TEAS scores?

The application period ended February 15th so I’m curious as to how they haven’t selected anyone yet..

I believe she meant that the students who were selected by lottery were emailed with instructions on how to send the official TEAS score

Pierce doesn’t have a waitlist.. it’s just random selection once the application period is over.

Pierce does have a waitlist. I was put on it after applying for fall 2020. I was put on standby for last semester. I am hoping to get in for fall 2021. I sent my TEAS with my application so I don’t expect to get an email asking for my TEAS score.

Nicely done! I only scored a 65.3% I thought they were random selection as long as we met the minimum requirement of 62%?
 

Do they go off the random list by point system? I thought it was just random selection?
