Hey guys! Just wanted to create this for everyone applying for Fall 2021. I submitted my application a while ago, but I didn't receive a confirmation email. Did anyone get one?
Based on previous forums and some friends, I believe it is pure luck with the random selection. I don't have much healthcare experience nor the greatest overall GPA. Friends and acquaintances were able to get in with not the best grades, and with either hundreds of hours or zero hours of health care experience. So as long as, you have a 2.5 GPA and scored higher than 62 on the TEAS, I think everyone has an even shot of luck with their random selection
Also, no. The director of nursing seems to be sending emails personally to each student for their response.
Help, for those of you that received an email to send the TEAS score.
I asked about the status of my application and they responded with this email
“Hello,
TEAS TEST REPORTS
TEAS test results need to be sent directly from ATI. Please contact them to do this.
Eligible applicants who are selected by lottery will be notified by email using the provided email address.
Regards,
Los Angeles Pierce Department of Nursing”
Does anyone know if the email response below means I should send my TEAS score?
Don't send your TEAS score because they will ask you for it when they need it. I'd hate for anyone else to waste 29 dollars at one school for just wondering if they will get accepted. Hate knowing I wasted 116 bucks on applying to 4 other nursing programs. Dunno why they want us spend before knowing if we get in.
I have an overall GPA 3.1 and got Bs in anatomy, physiology, Microbiology, Chemistry. I got As in English and lifespan. The only thing I had closest to healthcare experience was when I volunteered in the hospital through the COPE Health Scholar program at Hoag hospital.
I didn’t get in my first time applying. I was put on a waitlist and then I was on standby for last semester.

Hi, I was on standby for the Spring 2021 cohort (back in Feb) After attending the orientations dates I was told because of Covid there was not enough spots for clinical and I was asked to wait another semester. I received an email yesterday to let them know if I was still interested (which ofcourse I am) by June 18th. Maybe that’s the date that they will be notifying more people ? I HOPE SO. Goodluck to everyone

Did you get the email in one mass email, and saw that it was sent to 30+ other students?
