LA or NYC

Published

Hi im a nurse with one year of experience and planning on moving to LA or NYC. I got offers on both. and I need to choose. the one in LA is a CVICU internship and the one in NYC is a MICU internship, I love CVICU, but I also love NYC. what do you guys think?

I know, I like it down here in florida but yeah, its not the best place to be a nurse..

well,, i tried to get rid of my car down here, but i dont have much time.. im leaving in a couple of days.. so i'll probably bring it with me.. im planning to live in brooklyn.. do you know a nice affordable neighborhood there? i want to live in downtown brooklyn, like DUMBO, bklyn heights, park slope.. is there like 1000 or less apt there with a parking space?

U can probably find a studio for that price...to be honest it may even be more. Rent has sky rocketed in the area because the Nets are going to be moving there in the next couple years. Most apt buildings do not have parking for tenants. Parking will be an issue that I know for a fact. You will have to do like everyone else and park on the street because you will need to work a whole lot of overtime to afford an apt and a parking garage spot.
