Hi guys,
Im an RN from Australia and my family and I decided to move to LA for good to be close to our extended family. I found few agancies that help you out with the whole process... I was wondering if there are any hospitals in LA that sponser nurses from Australia so that I can directly apply to them?

California is a popular state so finding sponsorship is difficult. Also be aware many Australian nurses fail to meet requirements especially on Obstetrics, plus to apply to state you need US SSN which you will not get until in the US with a valid work or immigrant visa
I am aware of that. But I was also told that some hospitals do sponser due to nurses shortages. Then once they accept you you move to US then go through licensing process there. I have submitted application to CGFNS for validation. So fingers crossed.
Usually the BRN will do their own assessment as per their website Licensure by Examination
You might find rural hospitals sponsoring but nursing in California is generally not thought of for shortage usually a few other states have the shortage and even then the shortage is in areas of poverty or dangerous
