LA harbor college nursing fall 2018

Published

Hello,

I was just wondering did anybody else apply to LA Harbor College Nursing for Fall 2018? Do you guys have anything to share about the application, or application process, teas, or anything ?

I wonder how many applicants made it to the last lottery. This wait is intense.

El Camino already sent out invites

I don't think el Camino sent there invites yet. None of us in the el Camino thread received emails yet.

I got a 2nd round invite.

Yeah but none of us have got the actual invites to the program yet. They must of sent only the second round invites.

Yes I think so too. I wonder why they do it that way?

Yes I took my sciences at harbor erl09

How is the school?

I liked the school a lot. The professors I had were very knowledgeable and helpful, especially the microbiology professor, she was fabulous! The professors always took the time to explain the answers to any questions I had. But I've also heard that other professors weren't as good. I have heard from my friends who attended both LBCC and Harbor for science classes that Harbor College was a little less intense and easier to digest compare to the professors at Long Beach city college.

i hope this answered your question.

Pierce college gives you a wait list number randomized for that semester only. the first 30 get in the program and the rest wait if a spot becomes available for that semester.

Thank you! My friend took a science class that she failed at lbcc there and she told me it was easier. I haven't heard much about the nursing program

I remember last semester harbor's website mentioned that their nursing program ranked number five in California. This semester I think it went down to #6, but that's still not bad.

I hope we hear back this week. I want this to be over, hopefully a happy ending
