I got the hep b titer just in case.. And tetorifice?? Is that a requirement? I haven't looked over the papers in a couple weeks but that one seems a bit.. Random lol
Hmm..I guess Tetorifice can be declined? Boosters recommended every 10 years and I got it a few years ago from an Urgent Care, and I can't remember the location. Btw, what's the difference between titer and the actual vaccine??
Oh wait, I looked it up lol, nevermind jen.

A titer is a blood test that tells you if you are immune to something like something you're vaccinated against.. That's why we have to get booster shots because our body loses immunity or it just doesn't take at all.. Some programs make you get titers after being vaccinated just to make sure but they are expensive.
Lol too late ?
Whatever you don't have though they should be able to do there... Atleast that was my understanding lol
Thanks anyway!

How did you find out you were cleared? Did you pick up your badge yet?
The nurse said I was medically cleared and I just have to hand in my financial aid paperwork on Monday and I think I will be done. I will ask about getting the badge on Monday
Oh ok, thanks! I mailed off my financial aid stuff I didn't wanna have to go up there again lol my car is broken at the moment so everything is by bus unfortunately
Ok I looked up my paperwork again because I'm going in tomorrow and the tdap should be gotten... I didn't realize the t in tdap meant tetorifice lol

Hi all! I'm so glad you guys are deciding to attend county. It's the best nursing school I know of. Tough, but you will definitely learn a lot. I am going to be in 4th semester this upcoming spring.. So feel free to ask me any questions regarding the school. I'll be glad to answer them for you! :)
