LA county SON Spring 2015

I know this is little early but I will be applying in July for Spring 2015... I'm finishing up Micro this semester and will have 86 points! Anyone else lurking that's going to apply to?? Say hi :)

I just called Cindy's uniform they say that they going to be there between 10 am and 12 pm. I think we should have known earlier so that we can make plans. My friend wanted to order uniform as well but she has to work at that time.

I just called too since I didn't see this post yet... I'm just going to have to go on Monday to Downey. I cannot make it today!!

ugh. I'll just go to their store and order them there. thanks for the update. The school should have given us advanced notice.

a couple days before pre-registration, i got an e-mail saying that i'm on waitlist and that I will be receiving a letter soon. But it's been over 2 weeks and I still have not received any letter from school ;(

I just got a letter from lacc today about the nursing program... I'm sure there are some people who accepted their spot at la county who wanted to go to lacc will be declining their spot... Cross your fingers you'll hear something soon

I ordered my books already... I didn't even get all of them but I spent around $600 ? lol however, I did get a couple of supplemental books that have been recommended over and over

Yeah, I'll be ordering My books soon. I'm probably only getting 1st and 2nd semester only and I'll worry about the rest when I get there, afterall I do have Amazon prime :) I'm getting really excited to start and meet all of you already. Then, once we start I'll be dreading it lol

Yeah me too but some of the books like the fundamentals and med surg books are like $130 each

Thank goodness for prime because I don't think I can spend $30 more on shipping

Omg! I can't believe that you are waitlisted at Lacc. Your total point for county suggests that you have a nice GPA. That's why I think the point system is better. Imagine all the nursing program doing lottery!! After all that effort to get good grades, it would still be difficult to get in a program.I also apply with them too but I have not receive anything yet. But you know what, La county nursing program is very reputable. When I tell people that's where I would be going for my RN, they told me go for it because this one of the best program in California.

Lacc was my last resort. I imagine their lottery system is the reason why they have such low nclex pass rates

Does the school contact us when the livescan comes back or do we need to contact them... I feel like I keep bugging them about it lol
