Hello. Well I see that no one has posted anything for Spring 2017 applicants and I know that I'm feeling a little nervous here so I'd like to know if there's anyone out there on the same boat that I am.
They did tell us at preregistration that we needed to attend for that long. ... what I understand is that during orientation we will do our fire class as well and that takes some time ... and BLS is required at any position.... I got mine a couple years ago and it was about 60 if u go to the American Heart association u could find a class near you... I am sure there is so much more information they need to tell us before we enter

So we need to have our BSL CARD Before the 9th right ? I am confused about the malpractice insurance too.

Yes the malpractice insurance is what they told us we needed we can get it from nso.com or from insurance providers
I took the LiveScan early because I'm out of town next week. I've scheduled the BLS class for between when I'm back and the orientation. I emailed ---------------- as to when, exactly, we need to have our insurance (I presume it's by the time in February when we start our clinicals (the first four weeks of clinicals are in a classroom in County if I remember right)l) Everything seems in order BUT I'm so confused by the Pre-Placement form. Do we have our doctor fill out everything before we come in our health assessment?

I am assuming they fill it out when we get our health screen done and the form is to help us know what we need

That just orientation schedule, and yes, we need to attend the orientation. I thought we have to take BSL with Them. I was not sure about it though.
