LA County Nursing Applicants for Spring 2017-Generic Option

Hello. Well I see that no one has posted anything for Spring 2017 applicants and I know that I'm feeling a little nervous here so I'd like to know if there's anyone out there on the same boat that I am.

nope i never got any emails.. who is it addressed from? maybe i can check if it went to spam.

So all we need to do is attend pre-registration on 12/2 right? We didn't need to respond to email or anything like that before hand?

Congratulations to every one who accepted, I got my notifications letter by email, and sadly they only placed me in their waiting list. I only have 77 points.í ½í¸‚í ½í¸‚

The email specifically specified that you were on waitlist ?, what number did you get ?

it besicly invitation for pre-registration and said im in their waiting list, the letter did not said the number?

how about you? do got the letter yet?

No not yet . I am currently waiting on it. I honestly believe if I got accepted it was by the grace of God or they made a mistake because I only had 74 pets and I don't understand how I made the cut. Maybe it was my GPA ON BIO COURSES AND MY OVERALL GPA ON GEN ED BECAUSE I AM STILL MISSING POINTS FROM HUMMANITIES AND sociology. I was thinking I wasnt going to get in so I was going to go back to school and get those classes to reapply. But I am sure you will get in. People decline spots because they already got into other programs . I hope they didn't send me the letter of acceptance by mistake. That would break my heart. I guess I am just being a negative Nancy right now. Lol

Jessflo, whatever the result is, don't lose hope, I also haven't completed the humanity class, I take it this semester. I believe Humanity and sociology are requirements for the Associate Degree, but to enter the Nursing Program,LAC required students to complete the major courses, which are college English, math 125, micro 20, anatomy and physiology I, the rest are complementary to push your points up (I might be wrong). At least by applying for Spring 2017, you are a step ahead.
