Hi all,

just wondering if anyone else applied for the RN 1/Relief RN position at the LA County Dept of Health Services? The item is still open for anyone interested in applying.

Anyone hired as an RN1 at the county, how long did it take from applying until your first day of work? Just curious so I know what to expect.

Hi, are you working there now?

I applied in Jan, did WSA in April, interviewed in May, accepted job offer the very next day, and did livescan a few days ago. I'm working at another hospital, btw--and a new grad.

How long is your orientation and/or training?

Do you have any info on how to go from "F" item to 'A' item? Thanks!

*For future readers, in my encounters (in CA), 'new grad' is defined as having less than 1 yr RN paid experience.
