YES, Smylee!!! I was praying that this time it would be different and they would get things out on time but my hope of that is dwindling!! And of course the mailman is late today, I'm going crazy over here!! There is still today and tomorrow that I might get some kind of notification but we will see! Thanks for the reply, I was beginning to think I was actually crazy by talking with only myself on this thread since no one else has been replying! LOL!! :roflmao:

My friend and I received phone calls from the county today with the offer. She said shes calling some on the list today and some on MOnday. By mid week next week you should receive your letters. Hope that helped

khaminh, CONGRATULATIONS! How exciting! I haven't received anything yet and no phone call but we will see next week! If you don't mind me asking, how many points do you guys have? What were your stats and have you guys worked as an LVN or anything else in the medical field?

Congratulations!!! That's fantastic news!

I wonder why they do things that way where they call some people instead of just sending all notifications via mail?

Thanks guys. My friends and I had 90 points for the application . I think the reason why they're calling first is to make sure the accepted individual still want to go there and not waste a letter since the first think she asked me was whether or not I am still interested in going there. Maybe it happens before where people committed then not go?

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Great job on the points! I also have 90 points so *hopefully* I will be getting a call tomorrow! Have you worked as an lvn or in health care? I have not so I am a little worried about clinical :sour: because I have heard it is very intense!

I currently work at a hospital in LA so I hope that would help with the clinical experience. You pick it up as you go so don't worry I've also heard that being an LVN/working might hurt you since you picked up bad habits so it can go either way :)). Good luck to you.

Oh that experience will be a plus I am sure! I guess some people may need to undo bad habits so there is an upside and downside to both situations! Well I am anxiously waiting for tomorrow! I really hope I get a call!
