LA County College of Nursing & Allied Health - Fall 2018

Published

Hi,

I applied to LA County for the Fall 2018 cohort and I haven't come across a thread yet... Has anyone applied or heard anything?

Thank you Grace!I'm hoping for a miracle haha. But if not that's okay, just gotta keep trying!

Just wondering are you re taking any classes to make your points go up?

Question guys

How do I know which humanities course they will consider when taking in points. I have a couple courses that can be humanities that range from C - A

Almost there guys, one week away. Did anyone purchase the printed copies of the books? I'm looking at binding options and want to know the dimensions of the pages.

Sorry, no I didn't

They will use the course with the highest grade.

Did anyone ask if the ebooks are mandatory?

Hello all. I have another question. Can anyone tell

Me about this written interview. There was no info about it on the application process. But on the document tracker shows required

I haven't bought the ebooks either but I believe it is mandatory. From what I've gathered online about the Course Point program, it includes quizzes, simulations, practices questions, etc. and our instructors are able to see how each student is doing. I think it may be used for grading... but I'm not 100% sure.

The written interview is just a questionnaire that the school will send out to you. It mainly asks about your interest in nursing. I got mine in the mail but I have heard that others got theirs when they took the TEAS at the school.
