LA County College of Nursing & Allied Health - Fall 2018

I applied to LA County for the Fall 2018 cohort and I haven't come across a thread yet... Has anyone applied or heard anything?

Hi!

I haven't heard anything yet. The school website says letters of notification about acceptance to the program will be mailed beginning June 1st.

Hello everyone,

I applied to LA County for Fall 2018 too. The current information from website says letter will be sending out June 1st. However, I called in last week and the lady said they will send out the letter May 15. I hope they send out the letter very soon. I got accepted into 2 Nursing Schools so far but my top choice is County.

I know you're waiting on county but congrats on getting to the other schools!! Which schools did you get accepted to?

Has anyone called the school to ask for their point total? I'm wondering if the school is ready to discuss applicant point totals, but don't want to call them too many times.

They said, 77 above you have good chance to get in the program.

The waiting time is killing me.

Hopefully we get our letters soon!This is my second time applying. I only have 76 points but I'm hoping I get lucky this time around. Good luck everyone!

3 weeks to go. I'm brimming with anticipation. Does anyone have news to report?

Also, is it possible for a mod to do a thread merge with the other LACCONAH Fall 2018 thread?

I called the main number and they said to wait for the letter. Should I call someone further up the ladder to discuss points?

They told me the same thing. I guess we will just have to wait and trust that they calculated our points correctly.
