How do you study for NCLEX when you’re broke??
Public libraries have NCLEX review books available for free. The price of admission is your SSN. Remember that NCLEX has a 90ish% first time pass rate. If you went to a good RN program, you’re probably well prepared, and any review book will be adequate. Do a test prep book for test taking strategy skills. Take the NCLEX ASAP, before you lose some of that mental muscle memory.

Failed NCLEX - please help
Keep trying. Do a personal inventory. Is your problem test taking skills, or did you have problems with understanding the nursing process, pathophysiology, ABCs, meds, physiological adaptation, pt education, isolation precautions, prioritizing or critical thinking? Were you able to independently practice the nursing process in clinicals? Did you use any test prep program? Are there any life circumstances that is preventing you from putting in the work to grind out a NCLEX passing score? And finally, I’m not the grammar police, but the lack of punctuation in your post indicates that perhaps there is some deficiency in attention to detail that is prevented you from adequately understanding the NCLEX questions and selecting the correct answers. All of this can be fixed. Something is not working. Reflect and make adjustments.

Los Angeles County Nursing Allied Health Spring 2021
CONAH takes the highest grade. The school does not average repeated class grades. Call them to make sure they selected the right one. I had a lot of classes that fulfilled specific GE reqs. They selected the classes with the highest grade, for me.

Taking NCLEX in 5 Days
NCLEX questions are more concise, but you’ll have enough info to suss out the correct answer with your nurse’s intuition. Good luck, you’ll finish in 60 and get a positive PVT by the time you get home.

Taking NCLEX in 5 Days
If your doing UWorld practice test with all random questions, then I wouldn’t force myself to finish the bank. About half way through the 2,200 question bank, a lot of info begins to repeat. The repetition of information helps with retention. Brush up on the nursing process, and the commonly seen conditions that you encountered in clinicals and expect to see IRL. The first few NCLEX questions might throw you a bit because you are used to your study guide questions. Do a personal inventory, if your pathophysiology and clinical judgement is strong, then just keep doing practice tests and polish your test taking skills. If you were constantly struggling with connecting the dots in clinicals, then do content review. Remember NCLEX has a 90ish% first time pass rate.

Los Angeles County Nursing Allied Health FALL 2020
Don’t know what you mean by “get money”, but students will have to pay for the books. There is financial aid for everyone who wants it. Might be free money depending on individual situations, but loans are also available for those who have exhausted their tax payer subsidized free education money.

DELAYS processing CA BON application
Ca BRN requires submission of transcripts for prerequisite courses taken at colleges separate from RN school? I was under the impression that Ca BRN only needed the transcript from RN school. I completed an ADN program.

LA County College of Nursing & Allied Health Spring 2019
The class will start with about 50 enrolled students. The point spread for each application cycle is different, so anything is possible. For the waitlist, I suspect that anything lower than 2 point off the cutoff will have a hard time getting a seat. Retake classes and keep applying if you do not get in. Getting 80+ points is the name of the game if you want the amazing lacconah clinical experience. Good luck and get some sleep.
