I sent an app for LA County Sheriff RN, and received a test date.
I am a bit concerned because I have a close relative in the CA Prision system.
Does anyone know if this will cause me to be disqualified?

Did you disclose it in your application if there was a section for it? If not, notify your background investigator if you get to that point. They find out later, it is an integrity issue.

We have never disqualified anyone who answered "yes", since they were honest and told us about it. However, when people lie to us about it (we find out later that they are married to an inmate, say) that is a problem.
