Kwantlen Psychiatric Nursing 2016

Hi everyone, I decided to make a thread for everyone who has applied for the 2016 intake for the psych nursing program at Kwantlen. Just wondering what GPA have you applied with? and when will they start letting people know if they have been accepted or not?

Yay!! I'm not sure about the criminal record check yet. I have never had to do one myself before, employers usually have them done themselves. I am going to call next week with some questions and I will just ask them then. Does anyone know how long we have until the deposit has to be paid?

I already have my CPR and first aid. (Sorry I didn't see your post until now) And yes I am super impatient too lol I am not taking anything else right now. I just finished my academic foundations of nursing courses at Douglas and have actually applied to their RN program as well. I should find out in the next month or so if I get a seat there or not. So stressful lol

Oh wow that's awesome!!! Are you planning to drop this program if you get into Douglas?? Was CPR and standard first aid hard. Lol I'm nervous hahahahahah mines next weekend

Ya I think so, RN is my first choice. I don't know what my chances are of getting in tho. No the CPR and first aid were really easy. I only got one question wrong on the test lol don't worry you'll be fine!

Thanks!! I'll let you know what I end up deciding! If I choose Kwantlen It will be nice that I already (Kinda) know someone else in the class lol
