Hi everyone, I decided to make a thread for everyone who has applied for the 2016 intake for the psych nursing program at Kwantlen. Just wondering what GPA have you applied with? and when will they start letting people know if they have been accepted or not?

Hi! I spoke with the school a few days ago and was told that they hope to send letters out mid January. My GPA is really low at 3.29, I don't have much hope of getting a seat. What is your GPA and is this your first time applying?

Hi! This is my second time applying and my GPA is at 3.0! Apparently Kwantlen has a lottery system that chooses the applicants. I believe as long as you meet the minimum GPA of 2.33 you have good chances of getting in. And if they changed the system then you might get in because my friend had a GPA of 3.1 and got into the BSN nursing program at Kwantlen. I hope I get in this time around:)

Which intake did your friend get accepted to? I believe the intake process has changed to a competitive one. This is my first time applying with my post secondary GPA as I didn't have 24 credits until now. So I guess we will just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed, I hope you get in this time too! :)

Hey, just wondering if you checked your application status recently? If so, does it still say under review or has it changed. I'm so nervous, I hope I get in this term :$

Ya I check mine about 5 times a day haha! It still says under review. I don't think that anything will change until the new year because I assume they are on holidays. Fingers crossed! I'll let you know the minute my status changes!

I got offered a seat!! I think anyways lol when i look at my application it says offered!!!! No email or anything yet tho. Check yours!!
