Kuwait MOH

Hi,

I am new to this site and I found it very informative. This would be my first post. I would just like to know if anybody on this board wrote the Kuwait MOH exam last March 18 in PICC? I believe there were 3 agencies who facilitated the exam and interview. In my case I passed the exam and was interviewed by the Kuwait MOH delegates last March 24 at Diamond Hotel- Manila. The agency called me up informing me that I passed the interview and wait for further instructions for the next step. I would just like to hear how many of us are awaiting for possible deployment to Kuwait and any update as to your case will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks.

Congratulations Piorf! Please update us soon. You are one of the most trusted resource person in this thread and we thank you for your efforts in giving us info/update.

Bon Voyage....

hi to all, i am new to this site, and i found this thread to be very informative. i am one of the RNs who wishes (and prays) really hard to find a job abroad. i recently got an application to Kuwait, i just passed the MOH exam and the interview but i guess (from what i am hearing and reading from this site) this would take me a long time and a lot of patience if ever i keep up my application. im also having doubts in going to Kuwait, is it safe there? how is it like to live in there? thanks so much and best of luck to all RNs here.

@Seeker23: Just do a back-read, somewhere you can get idea that can probably clear out some of your doubts. I think there has been a lot written in this thread. It's really your call whether to push through with the application or apply somewhere else. Best of luck to you.

just saw my plane ticket last 2010, under VIRTUS al-essa company. most probably, this is their travel agency.. is this the same as agency that hired some of you?

well, you see, Al-Essa is facing a lot of complaims from our co-Filipino nurses(and yes, im one of them. lol) and with other nationalities esp Indians. they were even banned before. please read this:

http://www.kuwaittimes.net/read_news.php?newsid=NDkwNjAwNTU5NQ==

that man with the red cap is my friend and hostel-mate. you'll see some of the most common problems that they've given us. before i left, the general manager(**********) even asked me "why did you complain to the PH embassy when Al-Essa helps Filipinos find oppurtunities and jobs in Kuwait?" how can a ********** ask me this question? yes, it really is difficult to find a job in PH but it does not mean that we will allow them to treat us like slaves when all this manager do is Sit, Drink a cup of coffee every five minutes(lol) and eat chocolates.

Just a piece of advice to you guys, please be assertive, confident and bring your common sense. it feels bad when i see newly hired nurses(indians or filipinos being mocked by arab and indian nurses). if you dont know what you will do, ask. If you are asked about something, answer, and if you dont know the answer, then ask(a lot) back lol.. so you'll have an idea.

Scenario: infusion pump (actually, it is my first time to operate this brand)

senior nurse: do you know how to use this?

Me: a big YES(as if I know but actually,i dont know LOL). do you know how to use this? do you know why we push this button? do you know why this we need to remove air from the iv line? do you know why we give ivs through InfPump?

senoir nurse: (answers all my questions giving me an idea of how the machine works). lol.. be sure to include questions wherein you know the answer so that you wont break the conversation.

be friendly but dont look needy. do trust anyone esp ARABs, you might regret it.

3 days to go..

congratulations piorf! im happy for you. dinx is right, you've been a very good source of information in this thread. i hope you will continue to share with us updates even when you're already in kuwait. as for the rest of us, just remember patience is a virtue :)

gud day to all...

im from best one agency.al ruwad group...does any one here receive there visas already?i do have a problem on my visa and they told me they will get it back to kuwait but until now i dont have a feedback yet,its almost 3 weeks already...is any one here with the problem as mine?nx guys...

@cool avrn03: i know someone who is in the same situation as yours. in my friend's case there was some sort of problem with her passport so she was told that her visa will have to be returned to kuwait. just like you she is is still waiting for it but she was assured that she will eventually be deployed. just sit tight, it will come in due time :)

@cool avrn03: You don't have to worry. I do have my visa (only received a scanned copy of it) but it's still in the hands of Al Ruwad or MOH. We still don't have the visa at hand up to now that's why we cannot proceed with the final medical exam. Perhaps your visa will come together with the rest.

Best One do have problems with Al Ruwad with the processing of our application and this is the very reason why up to now we're still in limbo.

Best of luck to us....

Congratulations everyone !!!!....Bon Voyage...
