Hi Everyone,

I’m just starting this thread for everyone that is or will be applying to Kaiser Permanente Cal State Fullerton CRNA program this year. I completed the preliminary application application, but yet to receive the notice to start the secondary application. I emailed admission and they said there may be delays due to COVID. Let me know what you guys are experiencing.

Just out of curiosity - does anyone have a school that you desire over Kaiser? Whether you got in or not? If so, which school is it?

Kaiser is my one true love ? ...but if they cant see how perfect we would be for one another, I may go out of state. Many programs (especially mid west) only receive 100 applicants per year. Kaiser has upwards of 600.... Have to weigh the entire picture though, attrition rates at some of these other places can be up to 25% or more compared to Kaiser 2-6%.

TCU is definitely one of my top options for the fellowship they have. I would enjoy getting into Kaiser but I know I wasnt a top candidate even after interviewing and everything. We’ll see how it goes these next coming weeks.

Don't say that Hector! You have no idea where you rank among the applicants, I would not beat myself up all. Ps. 20/30 of the people that get into the program are not top applicants. You don't need to be a top applicant to get in, just top half LOL 

What I did to make myself feel better after it was over was to write down all the things that I thought I could've done better, so the next time I go through the process Ill be better equipped. 

If I have to apply somewhere again next year, I know I am going to crush it bc of what I learned this time around. It's all good my friend, no matter what happens.

This is a general PSA, but I don’t want to give specifics on the interviews because they are still happening. I don’t think it’s fair to the people who already interviewed and the ones who are going to interview. 

I will be happy to discuss interviews with everyone once they are done.

Just as a heads up. They said they'll let us know by February 16th at the latest on whether or not we got in! ?
