Hey to all,
Just found out the other day that when I graduate this December, I will be employed as an Oncology NP! So that in itself is pretty super. I have a particular hatred of cancer, so I will dearly enjoy helping others to beat it. At any rate, my nursing career has not led me into any real oncological experiences worthy of note. It's mostly ER. The doc knows this and says he's perfectly confident that he can show/teach me anything I'll need to know for the position, but I'd really like to step in with a little prep, you know. So, do any of y'all have any input on good learning tools/reviews/resources/journals for someone who is entering the specialty with a newby's eyes? Thanks in advance!
