Kenyan nurse

per the red banner at the top of the canadian forum, anything having to do with licensure and/or immigration needs to be placed under the international forum. we are trying to use the sub-forums for threads related to those actually working in that country at this time. many of the local nurses there are not aware of the requirements for the foreign-trained nurse.

Im a nursing student from Congo but studying in the US. I don't know yet for nurses from Kenya. are u there right now? there is justyzz from Ghana who was able to register but not in Manitoba, in BC and I don't know think she was in ghana then. You can PM her maybe... hopefully more peple will respond.

yes am still in Kenya but almost done with immigration issues should have my visa soon. was asked to send my passport to immigration last week.

Hi not yet. Was asked to go for a assessment of my general nursing skills but havent got around to doing it. I'll let you all know how it goes when I do.

Not yet registered, I did the assessment and was told to do a bridging program at a local college starting Jan 11th.
