Kennesaw State University Fall 2015

Is anyone planning on applying to KSU for Fall 2015?

Specializes in RN-BC, SCRN.

In Owl Express, Registration, Registration Status and Time Ticket, select term Fall Semester 2015. This is where messages show up if you have holds that prevent registration, or overrides that were created to allow you to register for certain classes. Also where you figure out when you get to register for a certain term.

My registration time ticket for Fall happened over a month ago (and I registered for Psych classes for my second Major), but I can continue to register until May 22nd. It now shows I have overrides that allow me to register for BIO 3317 even if it is full, and Nursing 3209 and 3309 without requiring a pre-requisite. Those weren't there last month when I registered, they only showed up about a week ago. Again, it may mean nothing, I'm hopeful it might mean something. I'll wait for the mail - which while come while I'm in class! Arghh.

Oh okay. I don't have a time ticket yet because I'm not a current student. I'm a new student. Hope that doesn't mean what you're implying cause I don't see any of that!

But I think you can be pretty hopeful in your circumstances!

I also have those overrides for nursing classes! Hopefully it means something!

Has anyone calculated their actual points out of 90? I am curious to know approximately what the cut off is so I have a better idea when I reapply. I am trying to decide if I need to retake any classes with B's.

GPA - 20 pts

5/7 math/scienc - 30 pts

7/12 pre reqs - 20 pts

TEAS - 20 pts

Total of 90 pts.

I calculated it one day and I was right below my rough estimate of "average" with 2 Bs in Math/Science and a 3.6. When I made it just 1 B in math/science I was a little over the average. That's with TEAS score of 90. Actually I'm sitting here staring at the clock waiting for the mail to get here at 2, so maybe I'll recalculate some stuff and post it. Do you remember what they said the average GPA and TEAS score is for each program? I had it written down somewhere..

3.68 GPA and 87 TEAS for this semester...but it all depends how many As in the 12 and math and science if I understand correctly.

Letter wasn't in my mail today and I live in Acworth!

I didn't get a letter today either and I live in Woodstock. :(
