Kennesaw State University Fall 2015

Is anyone planning on applying to KSU for Fall 2015?

I still haven't gotten the email yet, but received the one from Fran back in February you are talking about. I'll just wait and see! Good luck!

I didn't receive the email either but I got the first email yall were talking about. So nervous. I really hope I made it! Best to everyone! Hope we all get in :)

UGH! I guess it's safe to say, since I didn't get one from Fran, my application probably didn't get submitted properly. At the bottom of the application, which I just looked at again, it says, "By clicking the submit button, you will have successfully submitted your application and will receive no further confirmation". This is in all capital letters, in red. That made me anxious at the time, but since it said you would not receive any confirmation, I never thought to call and see if they got it. Now it's time for letters, and it seems my application may not have gone through. I guess I'll be calling first thing in the morning! I didn't think I was going to get in for Fall anyways with my low TEAS (72, but GPA 3.97), and I believe all things happen for a reason, but it is still stressful to wait this whole time thinking I had an application submitted (and who knows, maybe I still do!). There's still GBCN...! Good luck to everyone and please post when you receive your letters and what your stats are for acceptance! :)

Did you get notified about advising for all nursing students with more than 30 credit hours? This was back in January via an email from Fran. These were the sessions that talked about expectations for applicants, how the program works, and each person got a personalized assessment of their courses taken and grades. I would absolutely call the advising office tomorrow and discuss this, because your GPA is competitive and I've heard of people with lower TEAS scores being admitted if their GPA was high enough. Best of luck to you!

@bunnehfeet Thanks for your input, but sadly, no. I have not received a single correspondence from the college whatsoever, with the exception of some financial aid notifications/emails. I transferred in 53 credit hours, so I guess I should have got that email as well. I will be calling first thing in the morning. Thanks again for the information and good luck to you as well!

Jk, I just checked my kennesaw email on my computer and it says I have the email even though when I checked my phone the email didn't show up. Strange too cause the first email from Fran was to my personal not my KSU. Anyways, sigh of relief :)

Hey guys just got my email from Fran saying letters went out yesterday! super excited! I have a 3.87 GPA with A's in all my sciences and scored a 92 on my TEAS. Good luck everyone!

Arrrgh! No mail today. The pony express is completely letting me down!

Well I logged into degree works and they finally entered my transfers. I waited for an auditor to call back today and turns out my grades were entered wrong!! They had a D in statistics instead of B and C instead of A for algebra. Other things were added incorrect and multiple times bringing my GPA way down! I called and nursing manually recalculated and it didn't change my status so I will reapply in the spring. I had a 91 on teas. My gpa was a 3.67, but I have Bs in some core classes- eng, soc, psych 1, and statistics so I am sure it impacted my 5/7 with one B and 7/12, plus the 12. So I will be reapplying in spring with all A's in math and science (b in stat!) and a better score! Good luck to all of you! Remember me when you are selling your books :)

Wait, so you got your letter and you were rejected? Then when you tried to square things with them they said it wasn't enough?
