Hey everyone!
I noticed a thread hasn't been started yet for the fall 2019 nursing program. I take my TEAS on December 14th so I will post my stats once I take it! If anyone has already applied can you share your GPA and TEAS score?

I am also applying. What did you get on your TEAS?
I don’t feel competitive I have an overall of 3.56. All my prerequisites are complete. I scored an 87.3 on the TEAS.

@Milnur21 I have literally the exact same stats. I just took the Teas in January and received an 87.3. My GPA is 3.56 and I have finished all my prereqs. Out of all the 12 prereqs I made As in everything except CHEM 2.
@lstaton3 I am so nervous. I wish you the best of luck! If I don’t get accepted I already got accepted to UCF in Orlando. I just really want to be at Kennesaw. However, I am flexible. Do you have any backups?
@Milnur21 I plan on applying to Mercer and chatt tech as well but Kennesaw is my first choice. And good luck to you as well!! Waiting is always the worst part.

Hi all, I understand we should receive an email in early April. Anyone heard anything different?

That’s what the email confirmation states. I hope decisions come out earlier.

A nursing admission counselor reached ut to me at end of January to clarify something about my application, and I asked her if April was indeed the correct time for decisions. She said they were hoping to reach decisions by last week of March but 1st week of April at the latest. I only applied for the accelerated program so idk if that's for the traditional program as well.
I applied for only the accelerated program and here are my stats.
Graduated KSU with a 3.65 a few years ago
TEAS 83
From the information I've gathered on past KSU posts & speaking to a counselor, out of the required 12 pre-req classes, they put the most emphasis on 5 of the 7 math/science courses & 7/12 cumulative. If that is true then I have a 4.0 GPA in both cases. Currently taking CHEM II as my final pre-req (and also praying I can get through it with a C haha)

Thank you so much for sharing this information. I am extremely nervous and ready to know what the decisions will be! I pray we make it in!

No problem! Also, I noticed on a previous post you got accepted to UCF. Congrats! That was a school I planned on applying to as well until I noticed their Nutrition 3011 requirement. Their class requires a diet therapy component and all I found around here were basic Principles of Nutrition courses. Did you take it through UCF or is there a comparable class to take locally in GA?

I took Nutrition from university of Phoenix and it transferred over to fulfill that requirement. I am pretty sure the course I took was a basic nutrition class. All the schools I intended on applying to I contacted someone in the nursing department and asked for transfer equivalencies.
