Kennesaw State Fall 2011

I just applied to Kennesaw State's program for Fall 2011. I thought it would be fun to do a roll call to see who else is out there beginning the waiting game!

I haven't heard an actual date. I was going to ask at my interview and forgot. The only info I have is what was on our interview letters that came in the mail. They said we would know by May 15th. The 1st of May sounds much better!!

I almost don't want to find out until May 15th, I've got finals the first part of May and then I graduate on my 23rd b-day, May 13th, so if its bad news...well I want it after my finals and graduation so I don't have to go through the emotional breakdown at such a stressful time.... Now, if its good news, they can tell me tomorrow! oh, the waiting game.... we'll get through it!

I heard that the letters go out May 5th from someone in the program. I would not worry too much about getting in because I saw your posts about your grades and Teas, and you look like a pretty strong candidate.

On a positive note, the interview went pretty well I think. When I asked if they had any doubts if I would succeed in the program they gave me the runaround about how its a process. They did say they would suggest me as a strong candidate, though. I guess school interviews are a bit different than what I'm used to.

Mid June doesn't make sense when they wrote in the letter they sent out about our interviews that decisions would be made by May 15th. If it's mid June, I will have to decide if I want to risk waiting to see if I get into KSU or go ahead and take the spot I have been offered at West GA that will start at the beginning of June. Speculation, don't you love it??

I couldn't believe it either. I think you should definitely take that spot at west GA. ;)

Oh no sings&shoots! I know you and I had talked about this type of predicament earlier. That's terrible! I don't understand how they could possibly wait that long. My issue is that almost all of the scholarships I'm applying to require you to be commited to a nursing school before applying....:-( I forgot that westga started so soon. If I don't get into ksu, I need to start apt/house hunting in savannah for AASU.

Well since their letter says by May 15th, I'm going to go with that and see what happens. At least I know I have a spot somewhere.

bmd513 didn't you also get accepted at West Ga? I thought I saw that on another thread.

yes sings&shoots, I got into west ga as well but because they start in june and my lease in Athens it through the first week of august, I thought it would be smarter financially for me right now to start at a school in August so as not to overlap leases.
